About Port Bouvard Marina

Port Bouvard Marina sits at Wannanup beside the Dawesville Channel, connecting the protected Peel waterways with convenient Indian Ocean access. The floating marina combines wet pens, trailer storage, ramps, fuel, pump-out and everyday boating supplies in a calm, leisure-focused precinct. We think its relaxed identity is a genuine strength: the operator's Green Marina approach excludes heavy industry and major maintenance, keeping the waterfront centred on boating, fishing, crabbing and time with family.

Floating pens are available for monthly leases as well as overnight, weekend and longer visitor stays. Secure gatehouses use a card system, and every pen has 240-volt single-phase power and shared domestic water. The same access card opens secure parking, private facilities and the members' ramp area. Pen dimensions and capacity are not published on the current page, so provide complete length, beam, draft and displacement and obtain a specific allocation before arriving.

The fuel jetty dispenses premium unleaded and diesel, with card payment available around the clock according to the ramp page. Water and a sullage pump-out are also positioned there, with pump-out free for pen holders and available to the public for a small charge. Private restrooms and showers serve pen holders. What stands out to us is how easily a crew can refuel, deal with waste, collect ice or tackle and head back onto the water from one compact base.

Four non-slip concrete ramps are divided into two launching and two retrieval lanes. Wash-down bays and engine flushing support the return ashore, while more than 150 car-and-trailer spaces are advertised. Secure on-trailer storage includes ramp access, wash-down and engine flushing under the relevant plan. A café or restaurant, bait-and-tackle shop, general store, food, refreshments and bagged ice make day trips easier. The office publishes seven-day hours, although these should be checked before travel.

Our take is that Port Bouvard suits trailer-boat families, anglers and cruising owners who want a secure, friendly base without the bustle of a major commercial yard. It is not the place to assume large-scale haul-out or refit capability; major maintenance is intentionally absent, and a travel lift is not verified. Confirm pen fit, visitor availability, ramp access and any after-hours procedure. With those details settled, the sheltered marina and quick choice of estuary or ocean boating make Port Bouvard very easy to enjoy.

Services

Port Bouvard Marina offers secure floating wet pens for monthly, overnight, weekend and longer stays. Each pen has a 240-volt, 16-amp single-phase outlet and shared domestic water, with 15-amp moulded-plug leads required. Security-card access covers gated jetties, parking, private restrooms, showers and members' ramp facilities. Confirm berth dimensions, availability, mooring-line requirements and the assigned pen before arrival.

The fuel jetty provides premium unleaded and diesel, water and sullage pump-out. Fuel is advertised as available around the clock by credit card or EFTPOS, while staffed cash or card access has separate daytime hours. Pump-out is free for pen holders and carries a small public fee. Bait, tackle, food, drinks and bagged ice are available within the precinct.

Four controlled concrete ramps provide two launch and two retrieval lanes, supported by wash-down bays, engine flushing and extensive trailer parking. Secure on-trailer storage includes access to these facilities under the relevant agreement. Major industrial maintenance is not permitted under the Green Marina model, and no travel lift is verified. Arrange substantial repairs and haul-outs elsewhere, and confirm office hours, casual ramp charges, fuel payment and after-hours access directly.

Ideal for

Peel-region anglers, trailer-boat families and cruising owners wanting secure wet or dry storage, excellent ramps, fuel and pump-out in a relaxed setting.

To keep in mind
