Marinas in Sydney Harbour
Compare 5 mapped marina profiles in Sydney Harbour. Start with location and vessel fit, then compare services and booking terms.
Sydney Harbour, Middle Harbour and Parramatta River berths
Pyrmont, Drummoyne, Middle Harbour and Cabarita offer different bases within Sydney. Compare the trip from home, access to provisioning and the waterway you use most often. A location label does not measure the commute from a particular berth.
For a maintenance stay, ask whether contractors can work afloat or require a separate yard booking. For regular city use, check the complete route from pontoon to parking or public transport. Request a quote for an identified berth and confirm visitor access rather than relying on the marina’s general facilities list.
City access or a regular sailing base?
Pyrmont, Drummoyne and Cabarita put different parts of Sydney on the shoreside end of the journey. Middle Harbour is a different starting point again. Decide which trip you make most often: home to boat, boat to cruising area, or boat to maintenance. Do not use a general “Sydney” label as a substitute for that comparison.
Keep Harbour and Hawkesbury options separate
Brooklyn and Cowan Creek belong in the Pittwater and Hawkesbury planning area, not a Sydney Harbour shortlist. If you are open to both, compare them as alternative home bases and account for the different road and water journeys. The regional directory is a location tool, not a navigation route.
