About Two Rocks Marina
Two Rocks Marina is a substantial government-managed harbour 63 kilometres north of Perth, serving recreational boats alongside Western Australia's rock-lobster fleet. With 125 fixed and floating pens, a two-lane ramp, service wharf, diesel, hardstand and a 40-tonne boat lifter, it has the breadth of a genuine working marina. We think that mix is its greatest asset: owners can berth, refuel, launch or schedule yard work from one practical Indian Ocean base.
Pens range from eight to 25 metres and include several catamaran positions. Accommodation is offered on casual, short-term and long-term terms, but demand is high and availability must be confirmed with a harbour officer before an application is lodged. Supply complete length, beam, draft, displacement, insurance and dates. The varied fixed, floating and alongside configurations mean the nominal pen length alone does not confirm that a particular vessel will fit safely.
The service wharf and jetty provide single- and three-phase power, water, lighting and a fuel facility. Diesel is available around the clock through Bailey's Marine Fuels using the required fuel card. Pen holders have toilets, showers and laundry, and CCTV supports marina security. A public accessible toilet, barbecue and shaded seating serve the broader harbour. What stands out to us is how well the site supports both everyday recreational use and the demands of a commercial fleet.
The boat-lifting facility handles vessels up to 40 tonnes, 22 metres long and 7.1 metres wide. Its large asphalt hardstand offers vessel and trailer storage, wash-down and water blasting, forklift and operator hire, plus power and water. Trailer boaters have a concrete two-lane ramp, floating jetty and 82 car-and-trailer bays, while a nearby accessible pontoon is reserved for recreational vessels and emergency services. Book lifting and storage through DTMI during published weekday hours.
Our take is that Two Rocks is especially strong for northern Perth anglers, rock-lobster operators, larger recreational boats and owners planning meaningful maintenance. The harbour opens directly to an exposed coast, and Transport WA currently warns of sand build-up inside the entrance that has reduced channel depth and width. Treat that notice seriously: check current temporary notices, tide, waves, weather and coast-camera information, obtain local advice, and confirm pen or yard availability before departing. Petrol, pump-out, chandlery and public Wi-Fi are not verified marina services.
Services
Two Rocks Marina provides 125 fixed and floating pens from eight to 25 metres, including catamaran options, on casual, short-term and long-term arrangements. Demand is high, so speak with a harbour officer before applying and submit full vessel dimensions, displacement, insurance and dates. Pen style and available width must be confirmed, not inferred from length alone.

A two-lane ramp, floating jetty and extensive trailer parking serve launching. Book yard services with DTMI, and heed the current warning that sand inside the entrance has reduced channel depth and width; check notices, tide, wave and weather information before every approach.
Ideal for
Northern Perth anglers, rock-lobster vessels and recreational owners wanting versatile pens, round-the-clock diesel, strong launching facilities and a capable 40-tonne boatyard.
What we love
- One hundred and twenty-five varied boat pens
- Twenty-four-hour fuel-card diesel access
- A 40-tonne lifter and substantial hardstand
- Excellent ramp, pontoon and trailer-parking facilities
- A true working harbour with recreational appeal
To keep in mind
Pen demand is high, so confirm availability and fit before applying. Sand build-up has reduced entrance depth and channel width; use current Transport WA notices, tide, wave and weather data, and do not assume the published pen or lifter limits guarantee suitability.
